Venkat Krishnaswamy

Krish is a seasoned veteran with over 30 years of leadership, consulting and operational management experience in several industry sectors, and has broad experience in the creation and management of successful IT and business services organizations.

In the past, he has served as Vice Chairman of Cognizant’s Healthcare and Life Sciences practice. Over a period of 22 years with Cognizant, Krish held multiple P&L and business unit management responsibilities including financial services and insurance and was a key member of the Executive Leadership Team. Since 2003, he took over the Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice growing it from $130M to over $4B making it the second largest industry practice in the company’s history and the preferred partner for many large US and global healthcare companies. In this role, Krish drove delivery of innovative solutions and services to the broader healthcare industry and made several strategic acquisitions and integrated them to offer a broad array of services to address emerging challenges and business trends across the payer, provider and life sciences industries.

Krish currently serves as an advisor to several PE firms and is on the boards of several companies. Krish holds a bachelor’s degree in elctronics engineering from the University of Madras and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
