Environmental Policy
INTRODUCTION
Sagility Operations Inc., its parent companies, affiliates, and subsidiaries; and its employees, agents, contractors, vendors, officers, and board members (the “Company” or “Sagility”) are guided by its company values. These values are the foundation of how it conducts itself and interacts with each other, its clients, suppliers, investors and other stakeholders. The Company is committed to ensuring corporate compliance and to promoting an ethical corporate culture by observing the highest standards of fair dealing, honesty, and integrity in its business. Sagility intends to promote the environment and minimize its negative impact on the environment while delivering extraordinary service to its clients while providing a safe and healthy workplace for its employees throughout the world.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this Environmental Policy is to establish a Company framework to comply with all applicable environmental regulations and legislation and to adopt pollution prevention and environmental best practices in all it does to minimize its impact on the environment.
SCOPE & APPLICABILITY
This Environmental Policy covers all Sagility activities and its efforts to minimize its negative impact on the environment wherever the Company conducts its operations and throughout the world. This Environmental Policy applies to all Sagility facilities and places of business throughout the world.
POLICY
Sagility is committed to providing services to its clients in a manner that ensures a safe and healthy workplace to its employees and to minimize its negative impact on the environment. Sagility strives to operate in compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and legislation and to adopt pollution prevention and environmental best practices in the day-to-day operations of the Company and the work lives of its employees, contractors, vendors, and agents.
THE ENVIRONMENT POLICIES OF SAGILITY:
- Integrate the consideration of environmental issues and impacts into the Company decision making and activities.
- Minimize Company waste and promote reuse and recycling to the greatest extent possible.
- Create awareness to uphold the three principles of circular economy in its waste management include: (a) reduce and eliminate waste and pollution; (b) circulate products and materials; and (c) regenerate nature.
- Minimize energy and water use within Company spaces and establish processes to conserve supplies and minimize the consumption of natural resources.
- Identify, track and undertake measures to reduce the carbon footprint of the Company; and quantify and track Company greenhouse gas and emission sources.
- Work towards the Company SBTi commitments to reduce its carbon emissions.
- To the extent possible, purchase products and services that minimize damage to the environment.
- Promote and establish environmentally friendly green buildings when selecting office spaces.
- Wherever feasible, the Company will train, educate and promote awareness to Sagility employees of the importance of protecting and participating in corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities and to promote environment protection and maintenance of biodiversity.
- Promote environmental awareness of Sagility employees and encourage them to work in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Communicate the Sagility environmental commitment to clients, customers, vendors, business partners and the public and encourage all to support environmental protection causes.
- Benchmark environmental initiatives undertaken by industry peers and adopt best practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable geo-specific environmental statutory and regulatory requirements
POLICY REVIEW
This Environmental Policy will be reviewed at least annually by the Sagility CREST team. The review findings will be documented, and the Policy updated, revised, and amended as appropriate. This Environmental Policy will be reviewed in a manner to consider global progress and changes in technology that promote and improve environmental science and environmental causes. Consideration should be given to changes in the Company business model, changes in management structure, and changes in law. This Policy shall be appropriately modified and documented to meet Sagility business requirements.
