Anil Chanana

Anil Kumar Chanana is an Independent Director of our Company. Anil is a finance veteran, with more than 30 years of experience covering global IT and analytics, was previously associated with Ansaldo Impianti SpA, CMC Limited. He was also the chief financial officer at HCL Technologies Limited for nine years (during 2009 to 2018), and worked closely with the board and its committees in formulating and executing strategic priorities. He has held leadership roles in areas such as Finance, M&A, Procurement, Risk Management and Corporate Restructuring.

Anil is currently acting as a business consultant in strategy and finance. He is serving on the boards of listed and unlisted entities having private equity sponsors and in diverse sectors such as CDMO, API, intermediates and formulations, IT services, sports and athleisure footwear, Nex-gen customer experience, and health benefits administration.

He has been the recipient of ‘Best Performing CFO in the IT & ITES Sector’ award by CNBC-TV18 and was a recipient of ‘ICAI Awards 2015 CA CFO-Information Technology Sector” by committee for members in industry, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has also received ‘Hall of Fame Award – 2018’ from HCL Technologies Limited in recognition of exceptional leadership and contribution.

Anil is a Chartered Accountant by profession, and has completed his B.Com (Honours) from the University of Delhi and  the financial management program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
